Crescent wrenches have no place in an engine bay. She must not have her regular tools with her, or I'm sure she wouldn't make that mistake.

She's got to get to the bolt on the back of the turbocharger alternator, but that hose is in the way, and it's hot, so in order not to burn her hand she's holding it back with the crescent wrench to make room to slip the other wrench (the one you can't see) in there. Unfortunately, she's also sitting on the battery, so acid is destroying the seat of her pants.

in case anyone's actually wondering how photo shoots like this go, the photographer shows up ask's someone to borrow a big wrench or something and then tells the model how to pose, she was probably sitting like this for 5 minuets not moving at all, at least thats how it was in high school when a guy came in to take photo's for something in our auto shop and 2 students just stood under a car on the lift for 10 minuets holding wrenches up against the bottom of the car like idiots'
